Mae'n bleser i'ch gwahodd i Ymgynghoriad Cyhoeddus ar gyfer yr ailddatblygiad o Clwb Ifor Bach.

Am 35 o flynyddoedd, mae Clwb Ifor Bach wedi cyflwyno artistiaid y byd i Gymru – ac artistiaid o Gymru i'r byd. Mae'n llwyddiant anhygoel. Ond nawr mae'n amser i ysgrifennu pennod newydd.

Rydym yn cymryd un o leoliadau mwyaf adnabyddus Caerdydd a'i wneud yn fwy. Rydym yn bwriadu cymryd yr adeilad ger ein hadeilad ni a'i ymuno â'n hadeilad presennol i greu lleoliad sy'n addas ar gyfer y 21ain ganrif, yn deilwng o’i leoliad hanesyddol ar Stryd Womanby.

Gyda chartref mwy, byddwn yn gallu cynnig mwy o adloniant, mwy o artistiaid a mwy o hyfforddiant.

Mae Cyngor Celfyddydau Cymru wedi darparu cyllid a chyngor i'n galluogi ni i gynnal astudiaeth ddichonoldeb. Roedd y cymorth hwn yn ein galluogi i weithio gyda thîm arbenigol i greu dyluniadau cysyniad a chynllun busnes ar gyfer yr ail-ddatblygu.
Rydym yn gwerthfawrogi’r rôl allweddol y mae’r ddau sefydliad yma wedi ei chwarae er mwyn i Clwb Ifor Bach yn symud drws nesaf – a symud i fyny yn y byd.

We're pleased to invite you to our Public Consultation for the redevelopment of Clwb Ifor Bach.

For 35 years, Clwb Ifor Bach has brought the world’s artists to Wales – and Welsh artists to the world. It’s an incredible success story. But now it’s time to write a new chapter.

We’re taking one of Cardiff’s most recognizable venues and making it bigger. We’re planning to take over the building next to ours and join it with our existing venue to create a venue fit for the 21st century. Fitting of its historic Womanby Street location.

With a bigger home, we’ll be able to offer more entertainment, more artists and more training.

The venue won’t just build on our heritage, it will contribute to our community, to the Welsh economy and to the fabric of Welsh life. It will play a critical role in making Cardiff an internationally-recognised music city, the capital of a country that’s synonymous with song.

The Arts Council of Wales has provided funding and advice to enable us carry out a feasibility study. This support allowed us to work with a specialist team to create concept designs and business plan for the re-development. It’s thanks to the crucial role these two organisations have played that Clwb Ifor Bach is moving next door – and moving up in the world.
