Gilad Atzmon has been described by John Lewis (Guardian) as the “hardest-gigging man in British jazz.” He has toured extensively around the world as a powerhouse multi instrumentalist; he plays saxophones, clarinet and ethnic woodwind instruments.

Over the years his playing has moved increasingly towards a cultural hybrid, with his Middle-Eastern roots combining with his relentlessly powerful personal style, influenced by Coltrane and bebop. He has recorded and performed with Robert Wyatt, Ian Dury, Robbie Williams, Sinead O’Connor and Paul McCartney. In 2014 he recorded with Pink Floyd and is featured on their last album, The Endless River (Anisina). Gilad continues to tour worldwide with his London based band and also runs masterclass workshops on music improvisation.
