Harleighblu ♫

Combining a classic yet truly distinctive soul voice with a love of bass and eclectic future beats, Harleighblu is a revelation. Signed to Tru Thoughts - she has been likened to Erykah Badu and AlunaGeorge in the same breath; her hugely charismatic style has been championed by MistaJam.

A Nottingham native, Harleighblu provided backing vocals to the Grammy-nominated Musical Youth. With early support from BBC Introducing and legendary rapper Rodney P, the buzz around Harleighblu came to the attention of Tru Thoughts A&R Robert Luis, who tellingly likens this discovery to the way he felt on first signing flagship label acts Alice Russell, Quantic and Bonobo. Since then she has been in national and international demand including major festivals like The Great Escape, Glastonbury, Bestival, Shambala, Boomtown, Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide and Green Man as well as several tours of the UK and France and support for the likes of Amp Fiddler.

Baby Queens

This incomparable female 5 piece, criss-cross the narrow divide between rock, hip hop, soul and reggae!
The sickly sweet overtures one might expect from an all-girl band are ditched in favour of beats that force the melodic content to the fore, with the principles of classic soul and R’n’B song writing catching up with the present day sounds of British street genres. Lavishly layered vocals are wrapped up in slick production that marks out Baby Queens’ intentions to push boundaries and reintroduce to the masses what a vocal group with melody and beats in their hearts is all about. The delicate, fragile and understated is pitted against unconventional and low-down, dirty aural combinations.

NoNameDisciple is a spiritual MC/ rapper and singer, who released her 1st track in her late teens. May 2017 saw the release of her debut “Therapy Sessions 77” EP which as gained radio support from Linda Serck , Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 1), Tom Robinson (6 Music) and BBC Horizons. She is currently working on her 2nd music project for a 2018 release date (TBC)
