Burum (meaning 'yeast' in Welsh) play original jazz-influenced interpretations of traditonal Welsh folk melodies - beautiful, melancholic melodies are performed alongside fiery solos and deep grooves.
Burum have toured India twice (2014,2015), represented Wales at the Festival Interceltique de Lorient, Brittany (2017, 2013), toured Wales several times and performed at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival in Washington, D.C., USA (2009). The band released their third CD 'Llef' (The Cry) to widespread acclaim in 2016.
